Just a short bike ride from the hu Firenze Certosa camping in town, you can discover the 99th edition of the Festa dell'Uva, Impruneta's great social and creative event, in the heart of the charming Piazza Buondelmonti.
What to expect:
• A spectacular parade of the four districts – Sante Marie, Sant'Antonio, Fornaci and Pallò – featuring themed floats, music and choreography, all meticulously prepared by hundreds of local participants.
• District tables and shared dinners throughout September, which enliven the community until the festival.
• Final awards: a jury awards the terracotta cup to the winning district; the next day, a toast in the square with the winning district and its flag flying from the town hall for a week.
• Official date 2025: Sunday 28 September, the last Sunday in September, as per tradition
• Parade of floats: approximate start time in the early afternoon (around 3 p.m., according to historical timetable)
• It is recommended to book or purchase tickets or neighbourhood dinners in advance to get the most out of the experience.
