A stay in Florence is also a chance to experience the events that bring the city together throughout the year. One of them is CORRI LA VITA, an annual event that welcomes thousands of people in support of the fight against breast cancer.
Founded in Florence in 2003, CORRI LA VITA supports projects focused on prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for women affected by breast cancer.
The event is all about getting moving together. You can run, walk or simply join in, following routes through different parts of Florence. It is not an event just for athletes: above all, it is a shared experience open to anyone who wants to support the cause.
Taking part in CORRI LA VITA is also a different way to explore Florence. For a few hours, streets, squares and green spaces become part of one shared route, bringing together time outdoors, solidarity and culture.
Culture plays an important part too. The official CORRI LA VITA T-shirt gives participants access to museums, exhibitions and other special places involved in the initiative.
If you are staying at hu Firenze Certosa camping in town when the event takes place, CORRI LA VITA can add something different to your day in Florence: move through the city alongside others, see it from a new perspective and support a meaningful project at the same time.
Before taking part, check the official CORRI LA VITA website for the programme, routes and practical information for the upcoming edition.
